This page explains how to request deletion of your Submo: Cancel Subscriptions account and the data associated with it. MO TECH L.L.C-FZ is the data controller. Their contact details are at the end of this page.

How to request deletion

Use either of the following. The first completes deletion immediately in the product.

On the website

1. Sign in at submoapp.com.
2. Open Account.
3. Choose Delete account.
4. Follow the on-screen steps and confirm.

If you cannot sign in

Email [email protected] from the address on the account. Ask us to delete the account and associated data. We verify identity and respond within 30 days.

What is deleted

When deletion completes, we remove:

• your account profile (name and email);
• saved subscription records and onboarding answers;
• discovery and scan records;
• AI Advisor conversations;
• API keys and notification preferences;
• Gmail and Plaid connection tokens (we also revoke those grants).

Uploaded statement files and Gmail message bodies are processed transiently and are not retained.

What is kept

Deleting your Submo account does not cancel a membership billed by Stripe. Cancel that membership in the billing portal first, or you may keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.

The following is not deleted by this request, or is kept for a limited time:

• billing and payment records held by Stripe, and Submo's copy of those invoices and charges (kept for legal and tax purposes);
• production backups, which target expiry within 35 days;
• security and administrative logs, ordinarily retained for 90 days, with restricted archives retained for up to 12 months;
• paid cancellation-notice fulfilment and address evidence, ordinarily retained for up to 24 months after dispatch or closure and longer only when needed for a payment dispute or legal obligation;
• Plaid removal-queue rows until the provider confirms the connection is revoked;
• completed or failed discovery scans, which already auto-purge within 90 days if you have not deleted the account sooner.
